Promoter: The Promoter of this event is “Graduate Careers Australia Limited”.
Confirmation: A confirmation of registration will be issued to all attendees within five working days of registering. Please email vcf@graduatecareers.com.au if you have not received a confirmation within this timeframe.
Changes to your Registration: Any changes to your registration may be made once you have logged in to the site, or in writing to vcf@graduatecareers.com.au.
Conditions: Participation in the Virtual Career Fair (“VCF”) is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and is subject to conditions laid down by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone it sees fit. This can occur without notice.
Condition of Entry: It is a condition of entry to the VCF that you may be electronically monitored at the event, and your name and contact details may be supplied to the Promoter, Sponsors and/or Exhibitor of any booth you visit.
The Promoter does not endorse or recommend any of the Advertisers on its Site and The Promoter strongly recommends that prior to entering into any agreement with any of the Advertisers on the Site, that you obtain your own independent legal, accounting, financial or taxation advice as appropriate. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all opinions, advice, and other information provided through the Site or on the Internet generally. In no event will The Promoter be liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken by you or anyone else in reliance upon any information contained on or omitted from the Site.
Employer Advertisements: The Promoter gives no guarantee to you of the continued availability of any particular job/opportunity/graduate program advertised on the Site and will not be liable to you should an advertiser have filled the vacancy/opportunity/program at any time prior to removal of the advertisement from the Site.
Whilst The Promoter takes efforts to ensure that jobs/opportunities/graduate programs advertised are for actual vacancies, it gives no guarantee to you that every vacancy represents an actual vacancy.
General: The Promoter provides no warranty to you that the services generally available through its Site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the service will be corrected. You also understand that The Promoter cannot and does not guarantee or warrant to you that files available for downloading through the Site or delivered via electronic mail through the Site will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy your particular requirements for accuracy of data input and output, and for maintaining a means external to the Site for the reconstruction of any lost data.
While The Promoter takes all due care in ensuring the privacy and integrity of the information you provide, the possibility exists that this information could be unlawfully observed by a third party while in transit over the Internet or while stored on The Promoter systems or on The Promoter's Site. The Promoter disclaims all liability to you to the greatest extent possible pursuant to law should this occur.
To become a registered user, you must provide a password and a login name. You are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password and login name. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your login name. You may change your password at any time by following instructions. You may also change your login by contacting customer service. You may also delete services attached to your registration at your convenience.
You agree to immediately notify The Promoter of any unauthorized use of your login name or any other breach of security known to you.
The laws governing this agreement will be the laws in Victoria, Australia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts and its Appellate Courts and the jurisdiction of the Federal Court of Australia sitting in Victoria.
Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Notebook Prize Draw: Competition is open to students/graduates pre-registering for the Virtual Careers Fair by midnight Sunday 28 March 2010. Prize winner will be announced live on the VCF site at midday (AEST daylight savings) Wednesday 31 March. Winner will also be notified by email.
Disclaimer: Participation is acknowledgement that no blame, liability or responsibility can be attributed to the Promoter, its staff or agents for any loss, damage or injury resulting from failure to carry out any undertakings or provision, or from substitution of any undertaking or provision.
Privacy Policy: The personal information obtained during the VCF will only be used for purposes relating to the event. You may receive additional information regarding the VCF from the Promoter. Your name and contact details may be passed on to the VCF’s Sponsors and Exhibitors.
